The Flash Freezing Process

You may not have heard of the term flash freezing.
It’s the safe and effective way that quality, and safety conscience, food producers use specially equipped refrigeration systems to quickly lower food temperature as quickly as possible.

These systems use circulating freezer air to take food temperatures as
quickly as possible through the temperature
zone (140ºF to 41 ºF) where bacteria are
most prone to develop.

In the Top Chef Meal kitchen – this process takes
60 minutes or less. Then packed in trays our systems drop the food core temperature to 0º within two hours.

As a result, the gourmet entrees you purchase
maintain their-fresh-from-the kitchen
taste, texture and nutritional value for up to
six months in your home freezer.
(Of course, most people don't wait that long to enjoy
their Top Chef Meals once they
arrive at your door.)
