To provide quality accessible meals that will help end
hunger and malnutrition in our community.
It all began with a dream and an idea. The dream was
that no one should be stuck homebound without the means to get quality
nutritious meals at affordable prices that makes it accessible to the vast
majority of people in our community.
The idea that began this mission was to fuse our gourmet
chef talents with our high volume institutional services. Then the
leap of faith was to make an assumption that if we price such meals not as
we were accustomed to, but rather at what those most needy could afford and
make the operation financially sustainable through volume and donations.
The last part of the puzzle is to create a distribution network that would provide
a means to get the meals to those in need.

Feeding America, formerly America's Second Harvest -
The Nation's Food Bank Network, is the nation's largest charitable
hunger-relief organization consisting of a network of more than 200
Member food banks and food-rescue organizations serving all 50 states,
the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
Feeding America secures and distributes nearly 2
billion pounds of donated food and grocery products annually. Feeding
America supports approximately 50,000 local charitable agencies
operating more than 94,000 programs including food pantries, soup
kitchens, emergency shelters, after-school programs, Kids Cafes and
BackPack Programs.
Last year, the Feeding America provided food
assistance to more than 25 million low-income hungry people in the
United States, including more than 9 million children and nearly 3
million seniors.
